Fast Track Books and other services

The Community Library offers many services, including Fast Track Books. Just scroll down to see more.

Our Fast Track selection is a range of recently-published books which cannot be renewed or allowed to go to other libraries, meaning everyone has a better chance of getting their hands on these latest releases. Pop in to see what's available.

You can also:

  • Browse the shelves and borrow books and audio books.

  • Visit our dedicated children’s area with books for all ages.

  • Order books from other libraries.

  • Use the public computer.

  • Make use of our photocopying, printing and laminating services.

  • Borrow a blood pressure monitor, iPad, activity tracker or thermal imaging camera.

  • Collect hearing aid batteries in partnership with the NHS.

  • Find information about local services, upcoming events and tourist attractions in our Local Information Centre.

  • Buy second-hand books to help support the library.
